Manu Villalobos

I’m a Mexican food content creator based in Vienna, Austria, originally from Chihuahua, México. (Yes, it’s a state—and no, the dog doesn’t come from there!)

Growing up, I rarely cooked—my mom was an amazing cook, and my dad loved exploring new restaurants. But after moving to Europe in 2021, I deeply missed the flavors of home and taught myself to recreate them. It’s been a journey of creativity—adapting to seasonal ingredients, finding substitutes, and showing Austria that Mexican cuisine is far more than burritos and nachos.

My goal is to share the richness of real Mexican food and make it accessible to everyone. More than just cooking, it’s about sharing the memories and traditions where food and family are always at the heart of it all.
