Ingredients
Caramel
100ml Condensed Milk
100ml Evaporated Milk
1 Egg
50g Cream Cheese
1/8tsp Vanilla Extract
Pinch of Salt
For Caramel
150g sugar
100ml water
For Cake
300g chocolate cake mix. follow the instructions on the box.
Step by step
Preheat the oven to 150°C.
Coat the inside of your mold with the caramel, ensuring even coverage.
Prepare the cake mix according to the directions and pour it in the mold.
In a bowl, combine condensed milk, evaporated milk, egg, cream cheese, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until smooth and well incorporated.
Pour the mixture into the same mold.
Place the mold in a larger baking dish. Fill the larger dish with hot water until it reaches halfway up the sides of the mold, creating a water bath.
Carefully transfer to the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes or until your knife or toothpick comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and water bath. Allow to cool before serving.
Carefully unmold and plate for serving.
