Ingredients

  • Caramel

  • 100ml Condensed Milk

  • 100ml Evaporated Milk

  • 1 Egg

  • 50g Cream Cheese

  • 1/8tsp Vanilla Extract

  • Pinch of Salt

For Caramel

  • 150g sugar

  • 100ml water

For Cake

  • 300g chocolate cake mix. follow the instructions on the box.

Step by step

  • Preheat the oven to 150°C.

  • Coat the inside of your mold with the caramel, ensuring even coverage.

  • Prepare the cake mix according to the directions and pour it in the mold.

  • In a bowl, combine condensed milk, evaporated milk, egg, cream cheese, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until smooth and well incorporated.

  • Pour the mixture into the same mold.

  • Place the mold in a larger baking dish. Fill the larger dish with hot water until it reaches halfway up the sides of the mold, creating a water bath.

  • Carefully transfer to the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes or until your knife or toothpick comes out clean.

  • Remove from the oven and water bath. Allow to cool before serving.

  • Carefully unmold and plate for serving.
